You could call it a “‘Cat fight,” since it was Wildcat against Wildcat. But more importantly for Fultondale, it was a convincing 51-21 victory in a Thursday dual match against Shelby County.
The win gets Fultondale almost to the ..500 mark in dual matches. The season record now stands at 12-13, after a loss at Pelham and a win over Hoover’s B team.
Fultondale scored pins by Nick Spradling at 135 pounds, Brett Pennington at 140 pounds, Brandon Moore at 160 pounds and Jeff Ingram at 215 pounds. Matt Johnson also won a 15-14 decision over Corey Beane in the 119-pound matchup.
Earlier in the week, Fultondale lost to Pelham 53-18, and defeated Hoover B 51-22.
